YOC 67-B with 73 Student Officers at ATS Culminates

The Army Training School (ATS) at Maduru Oya on Saturday (24) completed its Young Officers’ Course 67-B during a simple ceremony, addressed by the ATS Commandant, Major General Senaka Kasthurimudali.

73 Student Officers followed the 45 day-long Course that started on 01 November. It included lectures and practical sessions, mostly focused on Military Tactics training of the Young Officers. The commandant delivered the closing remarks and marked the culmination. Lieutenant L.T.W.G Wickramarachchi of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment in the course achieved the best marks to be the first in order of merits.
