www.army.lk Begins Its Tamil Version

Sri Lanka Army’s official website www.army.lk turned a new leaf this morning (15) by launching its Tamil version for the benefit of many thousands of our Tamil readers across the globe.

The online Tamil version, designed jointly by the Directorate of Media and Directorate of Information Technology of the Army was implemented as a conceptual notion of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crisanthe De Silva.

Director Media pressed a button and symbolically launched the Tamil version of the website during a brief ceremony in the presence of Colonel Media, Staff Officers and Other Rankers of the Directorate of Media.
