Workshop Taps Artistic Skills of Permanently-injured War Heroes

The 'Mihindu Seth Medura', wellness resort at Attidiya for injured War Heroes under rehabilitation and recuperation organized a two-day (13 - 14 Sep) long educational session on ‘Porcelain Painting’ for 11 resident War Heroes from all five island-wide wellness resorts with the intention of improving their creative skills.

Accordingly, the group was taken on tour to the Royal Fernwood Porcelain Pvt Ltd on the first day to practically witness the process, and on the second day, officials of the company visited 'Mihindu Seth Medura' and voluntarily conducted the workshop to the same effect.

The programme was arranged under the instructions of Brigadier S.C Ekanayake RSP, Director, Directorate of Rehabilitation in close collaboration with Brigadier T.S Balasooriya, Commandant, 'Mihindu Seth Medura' and all other Commandants in respective wellness resorts.
