Workshop Educates Jaffna Troops on Production of Organic Fertilizer

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces-Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera, Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna organized a workshop to educate troops on organic fertilizer production process on Monday (28).

The initial discussion, presided by the Commander, Security Forces-Jaffna was attended by the horticulturist, Mr Kolitha Wickramasinghe and a few experts on the subject. The workshop discussed possibilities for boost of the national drive for organic fertilizer production.

This programme was inaugurated in line with the 'Thuru Mithuru Nawaratak' concept of the Commander of the Army. Divisional Commanders, Brigade Commanders and all commanding officers of under command battalions attended the occasion.
