Wildfire Brought Under Control by 121 Brigade Troops

More than 26 Army personnel of the 121 Brigade on Friday (25) rushed to Horombuwa, Suduwathuara Forest Reserve in Monaragala and brought a wildfire that had erupted under control within a few hours.

The timely assistance extended by troops enabled the total control of its further spread.

121 Brigade Commander supervised the troops during this operation under the directions of the General Officer Commanding, 12 Division.
