West Troops Donate Blood at Request

Responding positively to the request of the National Institute of Language Education and Training (NILET) of the Ministry of National Coexistence, Dialogue and Official Languages, the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) supported the conduct of a blood donation campaign at its training centre in Makumbura, Pannipitiya on Friday (8).

Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces - West (SF-West) assisted the project, ‘Jathiya Kumak Wuwath-Rudhiraya Eka We’ by facilitating more than 25 troops serving the SFHQ-West to attend the programme.

Troops of the 142 Brigade, SLA, SLLI and SLSC of the SFHQ-West took part in the programme.
