Wanni Troops with Sister Services Listen to Dhamma Sermon

The Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) with the motive of raising spiritual standards of members of Wanni Security Forces including Navy and Air Force personnel organized a ‘Dhamma’ sermon under the theme ‘Sith Niwa Hama Ena Ama Budhu Guna Suwanda’ project of Ven. Balangoda Radha Thero, the incumbent at Belihuloya Meditation Centre on Monday (24).

The project launched at the SFHQ-W auditorium on a direction made by Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army was implemented under the guidance of Major General C.D Ranasinghe RWP RSP, Commander, SF-W.

Ven. Balangoda Radha Thero delivering the sermon invoked blessings on the country, the Army, Navy, and the Air Force and wished Sri Lanka be peaceful, prosperous and free from all economic hardships and difficulties. The sermon also transferred merits on fallen War Heroes and all dead family members of Army, Navy and Air Force personnel.

Commander, SF-W, together with 100 Officers, and 1200 Other Ranks of Tri-Services in Wanni attended the religious programme.
