In an effort to enhance the sports skills of the troops serving the Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-W), an Elle tournament was held at 3 Commando Regiment grounds on April 2 on the directions of Major General M H S B Perera, Commander, SFHQ-W.
Brigadier W.A. Wanniarachchi, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 61 Division graced the finals in the tournament as the Chief Guest which was held between 56 Division and 61 Division team.
56 Division players emerged as the winners while 61 Division became the runners-up. GOC-61 Division gave away the prizes to the winners.
Senior Officers and Army Personnel from SFHQ-W attended the event.
