A selected group of 48 needy students learning in the Government’s Tamil Mixed Primary School in Waddakachchi area in Kilinochchi on Tuesday (31) received incentives for their studies, thanks to the coordination done by 6 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops of the 573 Brigade of the 57 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN).
Intending to uplift educational standards of those Waddakachchi students, Kent Engineers (Pvt) Ltd in Colombo responding to a request of the 6 SLNG came forward to sponsor those school accessories for free distribution. Situated in the KN 38 Waddakachchi Grama Seva Division, this Government’s Tamil Mixed Primary School is attended by children of low-income families in Waddakachchi area.
