Army personnel of the 18 Sri Lanka National Guards (SLNG) under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) practised the Buddhist virtues of donating by organizing soup and Belimal ‘Dansels’ at the 12 Divisional premises during May 3 -5.
The free eatery attracted many Vesak sight-seers and poor families who came there to see Vesak decorations on account of the Vesak commemoration. The Dansela was organized as a gesture of goodwill.
Meanwhile, the inaugural opening of the exhibition of lanterns and the free eatery (Dansela) was attended by Brigade Commander, 122 Brigade and senior officers of the 18 SLNG.
