MULLAITTIVU: DEATH of senior LTTE terrorists, SUVENTHIRAN BALAGURU alias JEYAM, RATHNAM MASTER and MADAVAN MASTER were confirmed Monday (18) evening by the clearing troops after their dead bodies were scientifically identified, the Army Headquarters declared.
BALAGURU alias JEYAM, born in 1965 had been involved in many major LTTE operations against Sri Lanka Security Forces and Indian Peace Keeping Forces in WANNI area since 1984. He was in-charge of the LTTE Reconnaissance Team and responsible for infiltrated attacks in Security Forces-controlled areas.
RATHNAM MASTER was in charge of LTTE’s Military Intelligence and the RADHA “Regiment”. Being one of the closest associates of PRABHAKARAN, RATHNAM MASTER provided protection to the LTTE leader.
MADHAVAN MASTER was the deputy leader of the LTTE Internal Intelligence Section.
