Two More Promoted Major Generals Receive Their Swords of Authority

Major General K.H.M.S Wickramaratne RSP and Major General W.M.S.C.K Wanasinghe RSP USP, Director General of Directorate of Welfare on Monday (16 Oct) received their symbolic swords of authority from the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu at the Commander’s Office after being promoted.

At the Commander’s office, they received best wishes and greetings from the Army Chief and accepted the symbolic swords of authority, associated with their new ranks in the Army.

Both newly-promoted Major Generals thanking the Commander of the Army for his warm wishes and greetings added memories to the occasion by posing for several photos.
