Two More Die of COVID-19 in the Past 24 Hours-NOCPCO

As of this morning (28), a total of 772 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 30 are Sri Lanka expatriates and other 742 are locally-identified ones, including the majority 189 from Colombo district, 178 from Gampaha district, 93 from Kalutara district and other 282 from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (28), a total of 60, 693 persons, inclusive of 53,697 of the fish market have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 52,565 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 7,838 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

In the past 24 hours, 1,520 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. Two more deaths have been reported from Gonapola and Colombo 15 areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 290 by this morning (28).

As of this morning (28), 8,252 persons in 97 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (27), 15, 259 PCR tests have been conducted.Asics footwear | Women's Designer Sneakers - Luxury Shopping
