On an initiative taken by Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army Headquarters and Colonel of the Regiment, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Mr J.S.P Jayasinghe of Taniya Caters owner and Nikaweratiya Rotary Club donated a brandnew Octapad (musical instrument) for the benefit of two disabled War Heroes resident at ‘Abimansala - 2’ Kamburupitiya, Matara on Monday (22).
Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana after inviting those two beneficiaries to his office gave away the Octapad to both disabled War Heroes who are now practising music.
