Troops with Sponsor Support Gift Theatre Building to Pre School Kids

The financial assistance of Access Engineering and J. Lanka Company Ltd and engineering skills of 653 Brigade troops of the 65 Division enabled the construction of a small theatre building (15 X 40 ft) to the Adhiradan Pre-school at Alankulam,Thunukkai and vested it in the students on 23 June 2022 during a simple ceremony.

On the guidelines given by the General Office Commanding, 65 Division Major General Anil Samarasiri, the construction started on 03rd Feb 2022 as a civil-military cooperation projec. It was brought to completion on 23 June 2022 with the support of the sponsor.

The General Officer Commanding 65 Division, Major General Anil Samarasiri attended its opening as the Chief Guest, together with Access Engineering, Mr. Varuna Mallawaarchchi, Manager J. Lanka Company Ltd, Mr. Deshappriya, MAGA Engineering Mr. Sampath, Nursery Coordinating Officer Mullaittivu Mr. Yogaswaran senior Officers of the 65 Division, 653 Brigade Commander Brigadier Namal Sarashingha, Commanding Officer 17 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Lieutenant Colonel A A N B Athurugiriya, Senior Officers and troops of 65 Division, 17 (V) SLLI and and the teacher of the pre-school, Mrs Sugida.
