Troops Sponsor Supply of Essentials to Deserving People in Kilinochchi

Troops of 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) of the 572 Brigade of the 57 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi, considering the difficulties faced by a section of the needy people distributed 32 packs of dry rations and essentials among 32 needy families in Korakkankaddu Grama Niladari Division in Kilinochchi on Saturday (11).

This programme launched on the directions of Major General Jayantha Gunaratne, Commander, SF-KLN and under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General B.P.S De Silva and the Commander, 572 Brigade, Brigadier D.M.P.P Dasanayaka was sponsored by the troops themselves in the wake of the imposition of curfew due to spread of COVID-19.
