Troops of Special Forces Regiment Donate Blood

In response to the invitation of Venerable Naula Athula Thero and Venerable Muruddeniye Sujatha Thero, troops of the Special Forces Regiment participated in two blood donation campaigns. These campaigns were conducted at Mahameunawa Monastery, Madawala Ulpotha, Matale, and the International Buddhist Centre, Yatiyana, Minuwangoda on 31 March 2024.

Over 50 Special Forces members voluntarily donated blood to replenish the essential blood stocks in the blood bank, Matale Hospital. This initiative was carried out under the guidance of Major General J.P.C. Peiris RWP RSP ndc, the Colonel of the Regiment Special Forces.
