Troops Restore Smooth Flow of Rainy Water

A group of 12 Army troops in response to a request made by Kurunegala Disaster Management Centre, 1 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops on Sunday (18) promptly removed a heap of garbage that had blocked the water flow in the Koskotuoya (stream) which flows through Mawathagama, Kongoda and enters Thilaka Mawatha bridge.

On the instructions of the 1 SLNG Commanding Officer, 2 Officers and 10 Other Rankers attended to the emergency and enabled smooth flow of rainy water across the canal after removing timber waste, tree branches and pieces of filth that had completely disrupted the waterway.buy footwear | nike fashion
