MULLAITTIVU: DURING search and clear operations that followed clashes in the areas north of NANTHI KADAL lagoon, troops recovered eighteen T-56 weapons, one micro pistol along with one LTTE decomposed dead body Thursday (9).
A few soldiers who sustained injuries due to explosion of LTTE explosive devices were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Micro pistol are usually used by senior Tiger cadres.
