MULLAITTIVU: TROOPS on search and clear operations in the general area of KOKKUTHUDUWAI, MULLAITTIVU Friday (17) evening recovered a decomposed dead LTTE terrorist, one LTTE motor bike and fifty rounds of Multi Purpose Machine Gun (MPMG) ammunitions.
Meanwhile, Army troops in PUTHUMATHALAN and KARIYALWAL also recovered eight claymore mines, one Rocket Propeller Grenade (RPG), two T-56 weapons, thirty hand grenades, one barrel filled with TNT high explosives, one mobile phone, three cyanide capsules, six identification dog tags, one pass port and one driving license in similar searches conducted Friday (17) during day time.
