Spreading the wings of humanitarian assistance to the affected community in Ampara area, the 24 Division Headquarters under the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) was generous in donating 24 artificial limbs among needy civilians in the area, some of who have been affected in the war and turned disable.
With the financial support received from the ‘Center for Handicap’, the 24 Division was able to get those limbs after screening the most wanted ones with the cooperation of Grama Seva Niladharis in specific areas.
During a brief ceremony 24 Division senior officers and officers gave away those limbs in the presence of a large gathering.
