A firefighting training workshop was conducted at Kokkeliya for the troops serving under the 56 Division at its auditorium on Wednesday (19).
Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) base camp at Vavuniya provided assistance of professional instructors led by Squadron Leader B. G. A Premachandra, Officer Commanding, 231 Squadron and the Fire Officer of the SLAF base camp at Vavuniya to the workshop.
More than 200 Army troops underwent training in the workshop.
