In order to educate Army personnel on dangers of drugs and prevention of its use, troops of the 11 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) organized a lecture session at the Sri Lanka Military Academy’s Torch Cinema hall on Monday (2).
This timely lecture, delivered by Major R.K Karunanayake, Civil Coordinating Officer at 111 Brigade of the 11 Division received the blessings of the Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-Cen), Major General Rukmal Dias.
The lecture touched on poisonous effects of alcohol, drugs, tobacco and other intoxicants and how the society should be prevented from the use of it.
A large number of Officers and Other Rankers listened to the lecture.
