Troops Help Fishermen Earn More by Releasing Fingerlings

In co-operation with National Aquaculture Development Authority (NAQDA), 7 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops with the intention of promoting nutritional factor and income-generating openings of poor villagers released thousands of fish fingerlings to the Akkarayankulam Tank on Friday (28) during a brief meeting near the tank.

Major General Wasantha Kumarapperuma, General Officer Commanding, 65 Division has given his blessings to the 652 Brigade to launch this programme for release of those fingerlings in response to presentations made by the fishing community in the area to the troops.

The program to release them was organized by 7 SLNG troops under the supervision of the Commander, 652 Brigade, Colonel G.P Kodithuwakku. jordan Sneakers | シューズ
