TROOPS of 233 Brigade under Security Forces Headquarters East conducted a medical clinic for the villagers of Kaddamuruvikulam in Batticaloa on 19th December 2009.
During this clinic doctors of the Sri Lanka Army treated about 50 patients in the village.
Meanwhile, troops of 234 Brigade in Batticaloa saved the life of a leopard of a rare species on 18th December 2009.
The leopard has fallen into a well of a civilian in Karuwappankerni village, the previous night. The troops rescued it and handed over to the Wildlife officials and released to Pillumalai reservation.
