Troops of the 111 Brigade under command to the 11 Division of Security Forces -Central with patronage received from a donor organized the distribution of 160 free dry ration packs among needy civilians during arrangements at Kurunegala Hindagolla Sri Dharmaloka temple on Saturday (1).
Those dry ration packets, each worth about Rs 5000.00 consisted of rice, dhal, cereals, nutrients, milk powder, flour, etc and one Mr Ranjith Siriwardena, a well-known philanthropist in the area extended patronage for the project and wanted the troops to get the distribution organized inside the temple.
Chief incumbent at the Dharmaloka temple, Brigadier Rohitha Rathnayake, Commander 111 Brigade, Principal, Hindagolla Digampitya Vidyalaya, villagers and Other Ranks supported the conduct of the project.
