Troops Bid Farewell to Outgoing Commander, SF-East

A Guard Turn Out and a Guard of Honour saluted the outgoing Major General Priyantha Jayawardana in accordance with military traditions to mark the relinquishment of his appointment as Commander, Security Forces-East (SFHQ- E) during a formal farewell, held at the SFHQ- East premises on Saturday (12).

Troops of the 23 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment presented the Guard of Honour parade at the parade square at the SFHQ- East to bid farewell to the outgoing East Commander. Afterwards while addressing the troops of the SFHQ-East, Major General Priyantha Jayawardana thanked All Ranks for the generous assistance and support extended to him during his tenure.

General Officers Commanding of 22, 23 and 24 Divisions, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were associated with the event.
