Training Skills in Combat Tracking Operations Refreshed

Intending to further improve 'tracking' skills and capabilities among members of the Special Infantry Operation Teams (SIOT), the 66 Division of the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi launched a training programme on ‘Combat Tracking Operations’ for seven SIOT Eight Man Teams, selected from its under command Battalions.

The programme got underway from 22 June to 25 June at Arasapurakulam Battalion Training School.

Mr Jerom Keil, a specialist and well-experienced instructor on 'tracking techniques' and twenty three tracking instructors of the Commando Regiment Special Warfare Training School - Wedithalathivu provided instructional assistance and practical guidance to the participants.

In future, those trainees are expected to provide necessary guidelines and instructions to other troops in their respective Battalions on Combat Tracking, which will be an essential skill in jungle operations as part of the military training. spy offers | Entrainement Nike
