Switzerland Ambassador Pays Courtesy Call on SF-KLN Commander

The Ambassador of Switzerland for Sri Lanka and Maldives, HE Heinz Walker paid a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) and met Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) at the SF Commander’s office on Monday (29).

Commander, SF-KLN who extended a warm welcome to the visiting diplomat on arrival at the SFHQ-JKLN updated him on ongoing projects and the security situation in Kilinochchi. He also elaborated on civil-military relations and gestures of reconciliation and goodwill that prevail.

In addition, the SF Commander gave an account on the Army’s contribution to uplift the livelihood of the people and general matters, related to health and educational standards in the region.

The ambassador left compliments in the VIP book at the SF Commander’s office before the cordial meet ended with exchange of mementos as symbols of courtesies.
