MRS. Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) called on Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksa, President Seva Vanitha Branch at Ministry of Defence (MoD) in order to learn more of the ongoing MoD welfare projects.
The meeting at the MoD office on Tuesday (4) focused on MoD housing, health and community projects and other welfare activities. Mrs. Jayasuriya who just took over the presidency in the SVAB exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and explored possibilities of further expanding the welfare scope related to War Heroes.
At the end of the discussions, the two presidents exchanged mementoes as symbols of their goodwill and memory.
