State Minister of Defence Visits Injured Paratroopers

Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon, the State Minister of Defence, visited the Army Hospital and the National Hospital in Colombo to personally inquire about the condition of Army and Air Force paratroopers who sustained injuries during the 76th Independence Day rehearsals at Galle Face.

The State Minister met with the injured paratroopers, who had experienced an unexpected mishap during the rehearsals. He checked on their wellbeing, engaged in brief conversations, and expressed his heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery.

Before leaving the hospitals, the State Minister held discussions with the hospital staff regarding the ongoing treatment and current health status of the injured paratroopers.
