Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner - designate for India, H.E. Mrs. Kshenuka Senewiratne before her departure for India to take up the new appointment paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu on Wednesday (15) morning.
Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage extending his best wishes on her new appointment shared views on prevailing bilateral training modules as well as exchange programmes between both organizations. The Army Chief also highlighted the importance of further enhancement of goodwill and friendly bonds of co-operation.
Towards the conclusion of the meeting, the Commander added memories to the occasion by presenting a memento to the new High Commissioner, H.E. Mrs. Kshenuka Senewiratne.
