The Sri Lanka Engineers' Regimental HQ – (SLE-RHQ) at Panagoda had a 'Cycle Tour' organized on 01 April 2023 for Officers of SLE on a conceptual guidance of the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Major General M.K Jayawardena.
The cycle tour covered Panagoda, Thalagala Junction, Moragahahena, Horana, Aegal oya, Bulathsinghala and culminated at Delmella Oya covering a distance of 43 km in total.
The event joined by SLE Officers and their family members was meant to enhance physical health, fitness and endurance which is mandatory for them. After the tour, all were entertained to a lunch treat along with their spouses, present at the SLE-RHQ on invitation.
Around 50 Senior Officers contributed to the day's arrangement.
