With the objective of enhancing knowledge on ‘Battalion Training of the Officers and Other Ranks’ serving in Divisions, Brigades, Forward Maintenance Area (FMA) and Units of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on Tuesday (15) conducted a course.
The 7 Gemunu Watch (GW) serving under the 68 Division commenced its battalion training at the Battalion Training School in Puthukkuddiyirippu with 9 Officers and 352 Other Ranks.
This GW Battalion training programme is scheduled to end on April (4).
Further, 14 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops serving under the 64 Brigade Headquarters commenced its battalion training at the Battalion Training School in Muthtiyankattu.
A total of 233 members including 11 Officers and 222 Other Ranks participated in the training programme.
