2 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) troops of the 144 Brigade under the 14 Division of the Security Force HQ - West recently distributed a stock of oximeters that had been gifted to the Army Commander among needy families in Athurugiriya, Kotte Kaduwela, Baththaramulla and Malabe areas.
During this donation programme, those oximeters that could measure oxygen levels were donated to needy families who are undergoing self-quarantining at homes on PHIs and medical advice.
Major General Sujeewa Senerath Yapa, Commander Security Forces - West gave necessary directions to the General Officer Commanding 14 Division and 144 Brigade Commander to carry out the distribution programme.
