SLSR's New Addition to Holiday-makers Inaugurated

Adding a further attraction to the existing holiday resort at the Sri Lanka Sinha Regimental (SLSR) HQ at Ambepussa by the side of the flowing 'Ma Oya' river, the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment put up their new eye-catching eco-friendly hut, 'Reverine Cabana' that could facilitate the visitors.

Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Colonel of the Regiment, SLSR and Quarter Master General on Saturday (4th March) at the invitation of the SLSR Centre Commandant, Brigadier Nishantha Muthumala inaugurated the new architecturally-rich resort. It was completed under the direct supervision of the SLSR Center Commandant, together with Colonel Vajira Amarasiri, Deputy Center Commandant, SLSR.

The day's Chief Guest cut a ribbon and warmed the new construction in the company of several Senior Officers. After taking a full view of the facility, the SLSR Colonel of the Regiment praised the troops, committed to the completion of the new facility and those involved in the agricultural projects inside the camp premises.
