SLSR Sportsmen Attend ‘Sports Psychology’ Workshop

Directorate of Sports - initiated educational programmes on sports science continues with the objective of raising performance standards of Army sportsmen and women across all establishments in the organization.

During one more such project, organized as per guidelines given by Brigadier P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc, Director Sports who has been the brainchild behind it, Captain O.D.S.K Rupasri, the Army sports psychologist conducted a workshop on ‘Sports Psychology’ at the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) HQ at Ambepussa on Friday (21 July).

Accordingly, more than 350 SLSR sportsmen and Sri Lanka Army Wushu players participated in the ‘Progressive Muscular Relaxation’ practical session at the beginning of the workshop.

Colonel U.V.W.S Amarasiri, SLSR Deputy Center Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks also participated in the workshop.
