SLNG Congratulates Best Performers in Drill & Band Competition

Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) organized a ceremony to felicitate SLNG drill champions in the recent Army Inter Regiment Drill and Band Competition, held at 6 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment, Panagoda.

The felicitation ceremony got underway at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) on Saturday (26).

Sri Lanka National Guard soldiers were able to secure the Championship in the Drill competition.

SLNG Drill team made history by securing Best Drill Platoon Commander, Best Drill Team, Best Drill Instructor and Best Pace Stick Team slots in the competition.

Colonel of the Regiment, SLNG Major General A. P. de Z Wickramaratne graced the event as the Chief Guest to give away certificates and awards to champions.

Council Members, Centre Commandant, Deputy Center Commandant, Commanding Officers, 2nd In Command, all officers and other ranks at the Regimental Centre took part in the felicitation ceremony.
