The ‘Gallant’ drinking water bottle production project of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), established recently near the SLLI camp near Ingiriya was inaugurated by Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku, Colonel of the Regiment, SLLI and Deputy Chief of Staff during a simple ceremony on 12 January.
Soon after the inauguration, its management and responsibilities was handed over to the SLLI Seva Vanitha Unit, chaired by Mrs Shiromala Kodithuwakku as a gesture of support to the Seva Vanitha movement.
Senior Officers, retired officers, SLLI Centre Commandant and several other ranks attended the occasion.
