SLLI Colonel of the Regiment Begins His Official Battalion Visits

Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) commenced his Battalion visits on Saturday (16 Sep) by reaching the SLLI Regimental Headquarter Battalion in Boosa, Galle.

The visiting Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by Major S.A.D.M.N Prasanna RWP RSP after he was greeted in a Guard Turnout at the entrance. Adding memories to the day, he planted a mango sapling in the compound.

Afterwards, he addressed the troops and thanked them for their commitment to the country and organization. Further, he stressed to keep the discipline levels at the highest standards.

Prior to marking his departure, he penned down some complimentary remarks in the visitors' book. Colonel L.H.C.R Siriwardena RSP, Overlooking Centre Commandant of SLLI, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks took part in the day’s agenda.
