The Sri Lanka Electrical & Mechanical Engineers Seva vanitha Unit (SLEME-SVU) to coincide with the SLEME’s 72nd anniversary gave away school accessories for 2739 school children of the soldiers and civil staff to the value of Rs 2.2 million on 9 December 2021 at the SLEME Regimental HQ.
The event was graced by the Colonel Commandant, Major General Indu Samarakoon, the Chairperson, SLEME-SVU Mrs Nandani Samarakoon with senior members of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Senior Officers, Officers, across section of soldiers and the civil staff attended the occasion.
