The 2nd Inter Regiment Carrom Tournament, organized by the Army Carrom Committee, was held at the Field Engineers Camp, Mattegoda during May 6-8.
Teams representing 14 Regiments participated in the tournament.
The finals and the awards ceremony of the tournament was held on 08 May. Major General L.N. Wickramasooriya, Chairman, Army Carrom Committee graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE) won the team championship while Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) won the second and third places respectively.
Sapper P.L.C. Charith Madushanka was adjudged the most outstanding player of the tournament. The Chief Guest gave away awards to the winners.
