Troops of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP), together with woman soldiers of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps joined hands together with members of the Sri Lanka Army Buddhist Association on Monday (03) at the Sri Bodhirajaramaya temple premises in Panagoda for offer of 'Gilanpasa' (refreshments) and alms to more than 600 devotees who were attending the ‘Seela Samadhana’ programme on the day.
Troops themselves cooked and prepared alms and offered refreshments (Gilanpasa) to all the attendees. Major General A.C.A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the SLCMP, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
