The Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) in collaboration with the SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch gave away fresh vegetable packs to civil employees working at the SLAWC HQ and the 1 SLAWC on 28 June at the SLAWC Regimental Centre during an arrangement, headed by Major General U.D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commander, Security Forces - East Commander and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera, Chairperson, SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch.
A total of 24 civil employees were thus awarded free vegetable packs. The event was organized by SLAWC HQ along with SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch under the guidance and contribution of the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps.
Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera, Chairperson of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, Centre Commandant, Senior Officers and Officers along with Other Ranks of the Regimental Centre participated in this event.
