A special workshop for other ranks of the Army, expected to retire shortly after serving 22 years in the years 2023 and 2024 was held during 20-25 June at the Sri Lanka Army Vocational Training Centre (SLAVTC) at Kalaoya with the objective of educating them on possibilities for continued employment after retirement.
210 Other Ranks participated in this workshop which enlightened the attendees on their future prospects and how they could contribute to the shortage of vocationally-qualified trademen in society.
Brigadier Senaka Premawansha, Commandant, SLAVTC and few resource personnel conducted the workshop.
