With the aim of motivating innovations and team spirits of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) members serving battalions, a workshop focused on innovation through team work, technical knowledge, waste recycling, welding, painting, and carpentry got underway at the SLAVF Multifunctional Hall, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force on a conceptual suggestion, made by Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa, Commandant, SLAVF.
The Skills Development and Innovation Workshop had its closing ceremony on Monday (8) where the attendees were awarded certificates for twenty-eight Other Ranks who successfully completed the workshop.
As the Chief Guest, he made closing remarks to participants from volunteer battalions presently serving under several Security Force Headquarters successfully completed the course which commenced on 5 July 2022.
