The Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) Regimental HQ honoured the newly- promoted Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc, Director General Sports in a formal ceremony on Wednesday (08 Nov) at the SLAC Regimental Centre, Rock House Camp on arrival there after his recent elevation to the next rank.
At first, he reviewed the Guard Turnout upon reach, presented by the Regimental Centre troops and afterwards received the Regimental salute in the Guard of Honour, presented by SLAC troops at the Regimental HQ.
During the troop address that followed, Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc extended his sincere gratitude to all past and present Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment for paving way for his career success which is filled with many moments of experiences, challenges and contentment.
Day's proceedings culminated with an All-Rank tea at the SLAC Regimental Centre. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the SLAC took part in the ceremony.
