SIO Qualified 166 Soldiers Pass Out from ATS in Maduruoya

10 Officers and 156 Other Ranks who successfully completed the Special Infantry Operation Course No 63 at the Army Training School at Maduruoya, passed out recently in a grand ceremony.

The Commander, Forward Maintenance Area – East (FMA-E) Major General Manoj Mudannayake graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Award for the Best All-Rounder Officer went to Lieutenant D.B.I.U Dandeniya of the 6 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Regiment. Best All-Rounder, Other Ranker Corporal D.M.P.B Wijerathna of the 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Regiment received the award.

A Guard Turnout was offered to the Chief Guest on arrival and was welcomed by the Commandant, ATS, Maduru Oya, Brigadier H J Seneviratne.
