The first batch of ‘Angampora’ training course of Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-Wanni) concluded their training on 18 March 2024 at the Security Headquarters – Wanni premises.
The course, aimed at enhancing age-old self-defense techniques, physical strength, endurance, courage, and tolerance among the Army personnel serving under SF-Wanni, commenced on 19 February 2024 with the participation of 30 soldiers. It was conducted under the guidance of Major General W.P.A.D.W. Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commander of SF-Wanni, and under the close supervision of the Sri Lanka Army Angampora Committee.
The Commander, SF-Wanni, graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest. He also presented a special memento to the chief instructor of the course.
