SFHQ-Wanni with '82 Api' Provides School Incentives, Lab Tools & Holds ENT Clinic for Students

The social service organization, called the '82 Api' at the invitation of the Security Force HQ-Wanni sponsored the donation of a stock of school accessories, bags, laboratory tools and its chemicals for studies, infrastructure aids and the complete renovation of the electric wiring system in the computer laboratory and also conduct of an ENT clinic for students and teachers in the Gamini National School in Vavuniya on Monday (21).

Commander, Security Forces-Wanni, Major General Champaka Ranasinghe graced the inauguration of the project as the Chief Guest at the invitation of the sponsors whose group includes various overseas-based contemporaries born in the year 1982.

All needy students in the school were prioritized for receipt of those school accessories in consultation with the principal and teachers. The donors with the support of Army troops organized the chain of events.

Mr Thejana Abeydheera, Founder of the organization, General Officer Commanding 56 Division, Major General Laksiri Liyanage, Mrs Sujani Senarath and several other representatives from “82 Api” organization, the Commander 562 Brigade - Brigadier Senaka Premawansha, Vavuniya SSP Thissalal de Silva, Chief Coordinating Civil Affairs SF HQ-Wanni, Civil Affairs Officer 56 Division - Lt Col W.K.A.S Priyanthalal, Commanding Officer - 17 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment - Major H.K Kumarasiri, several Army personnel, teachers and students of Gamini National School were present at the occasion adhering to health protocols.
